Restaurants & Bars
Food quality on MSC Seaside varies by venue and dish, with the main dining rooms offering adequate but not outstanding dishes, while the two buffets are surprisingly good, with fresh bread, pastries, mozzarella and superb pizza and pasta all created fresh. There is, not surprisingly, a strong emphasis on Italian dishes, with meat and fish at the forefront, but we also found a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options in all venues. And with nine delightful restaurants to choose from, including five sophisticated speciality restaurants, dining on MSC Seaside is as varied as it is delicious. There are a handful of specialty restaurants onboard, with Kaito Teppanyaki, Butcher’s Cut Asian Market Kitchen Bistro – La Boheme & Ocean Cay where you can enjoy the spectacular ocean views while you eat.

Entertainment
On MSC Seaside, the Metropolitan Theater is home to production shows, concerts, and comedy sketches. MSC’s goal in making the theater smaller than those on other ships was to create a more intimate experience with more flexibility for passengers. To that end, the line offers three nightly performances; there are six shows altogether, one for each night of the cruise, with three time slots of
the same show each night.

Common Questions
No, it’s a liability issue, so please NO smash tables.
Yes
Typical entertainment on a normal MSC cruise and also we will also be bringing our own local bands and DJs too. Also we will have player signings and meet and greet with players. We are still planning this out in the contracts with players once we determine which players will be joining us on the cruise.
This will be an adults only cruise 21+

MSC has laundry service for a fee.
Yes, but you are prohibited from bringing your own.
Conditioning Shampoo and Shower gel are available in all rooms. Suites have more upscale amenities.
You may request hand lotion.
Yes.
There is a form you can submit prior to embarkation that you can detail any food intolerance / allergies. Also, on the first day on board, you should speak with the Maitre D’ in the main dining room and the Maitre D’ will assist in any dining issues. Food is generally labelled and I have seen items in the buffet labelled vegan / vegetarian / gluten free, but the utensils used to serve can be moved around, so great care has to be taken when dining at the buffet. If you are concerned, they do have cooks behind the buffet who can potentially cook you something to order that will be safe to eat. Food in the dining rooms will always be safe to eat, as long as you tell your server that you have specific food allergies. The cruise line does take food allergies seriously, so try not to worry as they do a good job of keeping everyone safe.
Daytime Attire: Casual wear is recommended for daytime attire. Shorts and T-shirts are permitted.
Evening Wear: A more polished look is recommended for evening wear when dining in the Main Dining Rooms and Specialty Restaurants and while enjoying the entertainment in the theatre, bars, and lounges. Collared shirts, tailored pants or shorts, skirts, and dresses are suggested. Layers and a light jacked or sweater are suggested for cooler nights and in the ship’s air conditioned public areas.
Gala Night: Gala Night is your time to shine! Whether it’s a crisp shirt, an elegant dress, or a style that’s uniquely yours, let your personal flair take center stage and toast to a night of beauty and celebration.
All rooms have a mini fridge but they do not get very cold. If you have medication that has specific temperature requirements you should contact MSC before your sailing to make sure you have accommodations.
No, due to fire safety there are no irons.
Yes, all rooms have a safe in the closet. You lock it by setting your own 4-digit code. I recommend practicing before you put anything in it. Make it a simple code you won’t forget.
Only in the Yacht Club area and the thermal spa there is an indoor pool.
On embarkation day, there will be sign ups for the different classes in the gym. Make sure to sign up for the ones you want early as they will fill up if there are a lot of people on the ship.
